Our Coaches
Lisa McGloin is the Head Coach at Concord-Carlisle HS. In her eleven years at Concord-Carlisle, her team has 229 wins and 29 losses, is 182-6 in the Dual County League, has won ten Dual County Championships, won the North Sectional Champions of Massachusetts on six occasions and appeared in six state semi-final games. Lisa was selected Boston Globe Coach of the Year in Division II in 2003 and the Lowell Sun Coach of the Year in 2009.
Lisa McGloin founded the Raiders in 1990. The first two Raiders teams she coached won the ASA states and regionals, qualifying for the ASA Nationals. She took time off from 1992-1995 to attend Northeastern University Law School and restarted the program in 1996. The Raiders’ have two top twenty finishes at PONY Nationals (2002,2003) and a 9th place finish in 2004. Under her leadership, the program has grown from one 18U team to six teams ages 11- 23 in the past six years with her 18U Gold team finishing second in the Region 1 ASA National Qualifier in 2008 & 2009.
In her playing career, Lisa was the starting catcher for Bishop Fenwick High School, and went on to play at the University of North Carolina where she was the four year starting catcher, setting the school record for fielding percentage. After graduating from college, Coach McGloin played on various women’s travel ball teams, winning an ASA National Title and ASA World National Title in 1993. She is a three time ASA All-American as a catcher.
Coach McGloin began her coaching career in 1989 as an assistant coach under the tutelage of Ed Henry at Bishop Fenwick High School. During her stint as an assistant coach from 1989 – 1997, Bishop Fenwick won 7 state championships. When she is not busy on the softball field, Lisa is practicing law at her firm McGloin & Associates in Lynn, Massachusetts.
Tara Petrocelli-McGloin became the Regis College Pride’s first full-time softball coach in December, 2017.
Petrocelli-McGloin currently serves as the head coach of the 18U Raiders-Petrocelli Softball team in Concord, Mass, a position she has held since 2004. Countless players under her tutelage have gone to play collegiately at all levels.
Petrocelli-McGloin went to Regis after a successful two-year stint as assistant coach at Division II Merrimack College which included a 35-win campaign in 2017, the most victories for the school in 13 years. Merrimack reached its 14th NCAA Tournament, qualifying as the sixth seed out of the East Region. The Warriors won twice during the national tournament to reach the subregional final, knocking off nationally ranked and third-seeded Caldwell University in an elimination game.
Over her two seasons at Merrimack, Petrocelli-McGloin coached 11 all-league selections, four all-region student-athletes and the program’s first academic All-American in 22 years.
Prior to Merrimack, Petrocelli-McGloin had a tremendously successful career as head coach at Danvers High School in Danvers, Mass. During her 11 years at Danvers from 2004-15, she amassed an impressive 198-42 record, coaching her team to nine Northeast Conference Titles and 11 MIAA Tournament berths and advancing four times to the regional semifinals. For her efforts, she was twice named Salem News Coach of the Year and was a four-time conference coach of the year selection.
Petrocelli-McGloin was also a four-year letter-winner and third baseman at Anna Maria College where she graduated with a degree in criminal justice.
Stacey Colarusso has served as Raiders 12U Team Manager since 2017. She has also been a general Raiders Program Assistant Coach since 2017, helping 12U all the way through 18U teams.
In addition to working with the Raiders organization, Stacey has also been the Needham Baseball and Softball Vice President of Softball Operations and Program Training Director since 2011. She helped the Needham High School Varsity Softball team serving as Assistant Coach from 2012-13.
She played collegiate varsity softball for Lesley College.
Casey Attonito has been a head coach of the 16U Raiders team since the summer of 2016 and graduated from the program in 2015. She attended Concord-Carlisle High School where she played varsity softball for coach Lisa McGloin. She was a pitcher and utility player and went on to play at Skidmore College.
At Skidmore, Casey graduated early with a double major in Management & Business and Psychology. She now works full time in the wealth management industry. Casey’s younger sister, Alyssa, is also a former Raiders player and member of the 16U coaching staff.
Stacey Colarusso has served as Raiders 12U Team Manager since 2017. She has also been a general Raiders Program Assistant Coach since 2017, helping 12U all the way through 18U teams.
